The Tournament of Champions (TOC) was established in 2007 and was created to help achieve Total Player Development. The TOC is a FREE youth soccer tournament sponsored by Doug Miller Soccer and sanctioned by US Club Soccer.
The approach for the Tournament of Champions is to bring the best competition to Rochester NY while understanding the philosophy of training to prepare for each game. In this fashion, teams can prepare to play games on a weekend then work for a two week period to prepare for their next opponent. This gives time to each team to work on the technical, physical, tactical and mental aspects of the game.
In today’s competitive sports environment, getting teams from throughout New York State and beyond to commit to coming to Rochester for 5 weekends for some high level competition means that costs for teams and families needs to be kept to a minimum. To do that, TOC needs corporate, local and private support to defray tournament expenses.
This support will help ensure we can provide the proper facilities, referees, awards, and properly maintained fields for our players. Sponsorship funds also help to ensure that registrations fees are eliminated for all teams.
We would like to have your support as a corporate member of our youth soccer community by providing a sponsorship the Tournament of Champions. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to an organization that is offering a direct benefit to children. Contributions at any level are welcome, and are recognized as outlined on the attached page. We are specifically hoping to receive Event Naming, Platinum, Gold or Silver Sponsorship donations from our corporate partners and all Event Sponsorship positions remain available at this time.
